Oct 23 - Nov 6 Devlog - Clearing out the Clutter


Hi Dataswarmers!

Since UofT had a reading week, the team was mostly on break, but now we're back with some updates this week!

The feedback we got helped reveal some flaws in our game, especially in terms of UI, so we hope that our current changes help remedy this!

    • MC idle, aim, die animations + integrated in Unity animator
    • Enemy rigging
    • Update tutorial cards
    • Update certain VFXs
    • Stage select & Result UI
    • Options & Pause UI
    • Wall variation

    • Update MC, bullet, and enemy assets
    • Add in tutorial card assets
    • Enlarge previous UI elements to be consistent across devices
    • Implement Success Screen State
    • Add Turn Count Achievement System
    • Re-add in the Crossfade transition between scenes.

    • Implement Pause Button
    • Fix Xbox controller issue
    • Options Menus
    • Credits Menu
    • Update Achievement Requirements
    • Re-arrange levels to better reflect difficulty curve
