Oct 2 - Oct 9 Devlog - The Dataswarm
From our continuous feedback, we felt our game lacked enough complexity to design interesting and fun games. As a result, we went through some overhauls in our game in regards to gameplay.
Instead of just getting from point A to B, you will have to overclock enemies, turning them into souped up versions of themselves and able to spread the overclocking to other people!
As a result, we created more levels in order to showcase this new mechanic.
So, what is 'overclocking'?
Overclocking aims to allow players to apply controlled chaos onto the map, by increasing an enemy's movement speed. In addition, we felt making enemies deviate from their simplified control paths creates some interesting game design, and can quickly spiral out of control!
Feel free to test out this build! We'd love to hear any feedback from you!
Sincerely,
The Into the Dataswarm Team
